Gosford City Aeromodellers Club is one of the very few clubs in Australia to have not only an airfield, an indoor location but also a freshwater float plane site at Somersby. Its off Wisemans Ferry Road, not far from the Peats Ridge overpass.

The official float plane events are on every second Tuesday morning from 8.00am – 11.00am. We try to stick to fortnightly but if the weather is not in our favour, a postponement to the following Tuesday is usually planned. This makes setting exact dates difficult so attendees should either check ‘Dads Airforce’ on Whatsapp or contact Nic. Flying is limited to electric float planes only.
