Welcome to the Gosford City Aeromodellers Inc

The Gosford City Aeromodellers Club has been serving the Central Coast’s aeromodelling enthusiasts since 1995 and has expanded from a membership of 8 to over 100 today, with members aged from the teens right through to 90’s. Aeromodellers and visitors from all over the Central Coast and beyond are invited and always welcome to visit our great flying club. On a usual flying day our pilots can be found flying most varieties of RC aircraft and the best days to catch us in action are Wednesdays, Fridays, and of course Saturdays and Sundays. Most members fly up until lunch when the sun begins to get a bit high in the sky. GCAC has earned the name of the “Friendly Club on the Central Coast” in the model aero community. So please feel free to come and say hi, check out some of the models, and have a chat with our members.

Flying Times : Electric planes can be flown at any time, but IC engines must not be started before 7.30am Monday thru Saturday, and not before 9.00am on Sundays and Public Holidays. The only exception is in the event of a total fire ban being declared for the Greater Sydney Region in which case no flying at all is permitted.

Moss Field is located at the top of Mangrove Road at Narara on Australia’s NSW Central Coast. We also fly float planes at Kariong Dam and fly indoor at the Niagara Park Stadium. For further details please see our Location Page.
